2018 High 48s Bluegrass Brunch

The High 48s 2018 Bluegrass Brunch at the Aster Cafe

The Bluegrass Brunch is Back!

Yes my friends, The High 48s Bluegrass Brunch is back for 2018 at the Aster Cafe in Minneapolis!

These shows are some of my favorite of the year, not only because I get to pick bluegrass and eat tasty food but because they have become a place for my family, friends and banjo students to mingle and hang out!

These FREE, all-ages events take place every Saturday from 11AM-1PM during the months of January and February.

Now in its fifth year, the Bluegrass Brunch has become much more than a winter concert series. It’s a weekly gathering of friends, families and acoustic music fans, assembling during the coldest and darkest months of the year to share a meal, raise their glasses and tap their toes together.

I would love for YOU to be a part of this special community!

Reservations Recommended

There are only eight Bluegrass Brunches this season and last year they all sold out in advance, so please make your reservations early by calling: 612-379-3138.

Reservations work just like advance tickets, only they’re FREE — just call and reserve a table or a bar stool in advance and you’re guaranteed a nice spot to enjoy your food and music.

Free Holiday Banjo Tab: Frosty the Snowman

This one is for the intermediate banjo players out there– my arrangement of Frosty the Snowman in the key of G, played out of G position.

It will definitely help if you already have a grasp of two-finger chord shapes and G melodic scale positions, but if not, you can learn as you go! 🙂

Feel free to ask any questions in the comment section below.

You can download the free tab HERE  (no email required).

You can listen and watch me play the arrangement in video below. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful holiday season!
